CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Min called the Regular Meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.
Chairperson Min welcomed new commissioner Patricia Mehan.
ROLL CALL: Minutes Clerk, Michele Hardy took roll call :
Present : Chairperson Min, Commissioners Mehan, Pearson, Sachs and Tweedy
Absent: None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner Tweedy led the Pledge of Allegiance
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Chairperson Min asked if there were any corrections or revisions to the minutes of
the meeting October 27 , 2016.

Sachs, to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of

CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. AB# 0217-1 SUMMARY REPORT (ACTION)
The Commission to accept, approve and file the October 27 , 2016 Senior Commission
meeting summary report.

2. AB# 0217-2 ELECTION OF SENIOR COMMISSION OFFICERS (ACTION)
Elections of Senior Commission officers for the 2017 calendar year were completed, with
Commissioner Pearson the newly elected Chairperson and Commissioner Tweedy the
newly elected Vice Chairperson.

3. AB# 0217-3 SENIOR CENTER REPORT (INFORMATION)
Mark Olson, Recreation Area Manager, will distribute the Senior Center report to the
commissioners at the next scheduled meeting. He stated that there has been a 58%
increase in class attendance at the Senior Center from last fiscal year.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

2. Determine specific date for special meeting at Rancho Carlsbad
