CALL TO ORDER: Chair Rodenhausen called the Regular Meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Minutes Clerk, Char Buckalew took roll call:
Present: Chair Rodenhausen, Commissioners Mehan, Rangus and Wilson.
Absent: Vice Chair Sachs
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner Wilson led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Tabled the approval of the September 5, 2019 minutes due to a lack of a quorum of
commissioners who were present at the September 5, 2019 meeting.
Chair Rodenhausen requested a motion to approve the minutes of the October 3, 2019 Senior
Commission Meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:
1. SR# 1119-1 POTENTIALCHANGE TO THE DAY OF THE MONTH OF COMMISSION
MEETINGS
Commissioners discussed a potential move to the fourth Thursday of the month. The ·
commissioners decided to continue meetings on the first Thursday of the month. The
commissioners discussed a change for the January 2, 2020 and the February 6, 2019
meetings.
The commissioners voted to have a Special Senior Commission Meeting on January 30,
2019 and eliminate the meetings on January 2, 2020 and February 6, 2020.

Recreation Area Manager Margaret Hamer and Special Projects Manager Mick Calarco
presented the Department Report.
Mary Lucid, Oceanside resident spoke regarding her concerns at the Senior Center.
