Approval of Minutes.
The minutes for the March meeting were approved as submitted.
Election of Officers.
In view of the fact that severkl of the members of the com-
mittee were absent, it was agreed that the election would be
deferred until the next meeting.
Parking Limitations in the Downtown area.
Mr. Cook advised the committee that the owner of the Gift
Shop located on the north side of Elm, between Roosevelt and
the alley, had complained regarding the installation of green
curb at the intersection near her shop. He indicated that
customers cannot complete business with her in twenty minutes
requested to watch the situation and see if her change in
business was due to other causes than the green curb. She
will advise the commission further if the problem really
appears to stem from the green curb. Since no response
from her had been received prior to the meeting, the matter
was deferred until the main meeting.

One Way Status for Ocean Street.
The Police Chief has requested that Ocean Street he made one
way southbound. The City Engineer outlined the various
possibilities regarding this and indicated that there were
several developmental considerations now being considered
by the City staff. These will be further explored with re-
gard to the possibility of making Ocean Street one way and
a report will be submitted to the Traffic Safety Commiktke.

5. Truck Routes Within Town.
Upon motion, (Cook-Nelson) , the Traffic Safety Commission
recommended that the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 3090
as drafted by the staff.
