Al Wood. Absent: Jack Arnold, Manny Puentes. 1. Approval of Minutes Minutes of December 4, 1972 meeting were revised to include Col. Wood on attenda.nce record. Minutes approved as read. 2. Warrants A motion was passed (Nelson-Sims) to re-submit the warrants to the City Council. with the recommendation that they be adopted, based on a six month skudy which showed they were sufficient. Bill Harkins will attend the Jan. 5-6, 1973 Council meeting to explain the Traffic Safety Comnission’s position on the warrants, pointing out County consistency. 3.. Status of Carlsbad Blvd. and State St. Hunter Cook gave an update on the Council’s action, including the decision that the existing stop sign be removed on Jan. 19, 1973. 4. Widening of Carlsbad Blvd. from Elm to Redwood _I --- It was decided the Commission observe conditions imposed by the new overlay an6 striping of Carlsb2d Blvd. before any new action takes place. 5. Standard station on Tamarack at Pi0 Pic0 It was recomnended by Chief Lau,ghlin, and approved by Hunter Cook, that the curb in front of the Standard station at Tamarack arid Pi0 Pic0 shoulcl be painted red. 6. Signal at El Camino Real and Chestnut It was noted that several citizens have conplained about the signal at El Camino Real and Chestnut being out of order. TSM will be notified. 7.
