MINUTES

1. Approval of Minutes
The Minutes of the December '4, 1978 meeting were approved as submitted.
2. Request for warning signs at the intersection of Anillo Way and La Gran
Via
After reviewing the roadway conditions at the above knuckle intersection
(in a residential neighborhood), the Commission recommended that advance curve warning signs and advisory speed signs (15 m.p.h. according to en-
gineering studies) be instal led on both approaches to the intersection.

The Commission also recommended that the intersection be kept under ob-
servation in order to monitor the effectiveness of the signing.
3. Discussion of traffic control devices and enforcement problems
The Commission generally discussed the problems resulting from the in-
stallation and enforcement of various traffic control devices.
The Commission will continue to strive to recommend installing only
traffic control devices (those that regulate traffic) which can be
reasonably and legally enforced by the City's Police Department.
