Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the September 10, 1979 meeting were approved as su bmi tted .
El Camino Real and Levante
A group of citizens from the La Costa area were present requesting signals be installed at this location. The Commission informed them that the intersection met the City's warrants for a signal, however, the majority of the intersection is in the County. The Commission requests that the Council forward a letter to the County Traffic Depart- ment requesting they seriously consider the installation of signals at Levante and El Camino Real.
Cazadero and Cori ntia
Dr. Hugh Terrell was present at the meeting, requesting the Commission to take action to slow the cars down at this location. The Commission felt that the staff should take traffic counts and a speed study at this location and results reported to the Commission. would act at the next scheduled meeting and Dr. Terrell will be advised of the results.

Truck Routes
The Commission reversed their previous position, and recommended that the Carlsbad City Code be revised to post those routes considered to be problems. Not all truck routes should be posted.
