Police Chief Vincent Jimno, Larry Dossey, Roger Greer
MEMBERS ABSENT: Chairman Alan Jacobs, Capt. Wally Rossal, Wes Terry
OTHERS PRESENT: Steve Tisdale, Terry Lutz, Donald LeMay (Principal of
Kelly School), various citizens
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the September 8, 1980 meeting were approved as submitted.
2. EL CAMINO REAL AND TAMARACK AVENUE - SAFETY PATROL/CROSSING GUARD
The Commission determined that the warrants for a crossing guard at
this location were met; that staff should address letters to the
School District and City Council requesting consideration of a guard
at this location; and that no change in approach speed limits be made
at this time.
3. CHESTNUT AND TRIESTE - FOUR-WAY STOP SIGNS
The Commission denied this request.
4. MARRON ROAD AND AVENIDA DE ANITA - REQUEST FOR NO PARKING
Staff was requested by the Commission to review this location for pos-
sible red curb on the suggestion of Roger Greer.
5. PARK DRIVE AND KELLY DRIVE - ADDITIONAL STOP SIGN
Staff was requested by the Commission to prepare a detailed report and
recommend other alternatives.
6. CARLSBAD BOULEVARD N/O WALNUT - REQUEST FOR CURB PAINTING
The Commission recommended the striping suggested by staff.
