MINUTES
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Alan Jacobs, Bob Nelson, Carl Roiss, John Lusignan, Larry Dossey, Roger Greer, Captain Wally Rossall (late)
MEMBER ABSENT: Wes Terry

1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the January 5, 1981 meeting were approved as submitted.
2. HIGHLAND A?ID FOREST - REQUEST FOR STOP SIGN
This item was continued until the next meeting to allow staff time to check for warrants.
3. SEGOVIA - REQUEST FOR SPEED SIGNS
This item was continued until the next meeting to allow staff time to make a speed study since Police radar was nonfunctional.
4. PI0 PIC0 - TRUCK PARKING
The Commission agreed with staff's recommendation against any change at this time,
5. LANIKAI MORILE~ME PARK - BIJS STOP
The Commission felt that having the residents cross Carlsbad Boulevard to get to the bus stop was an unsafe situation. The Commission suggested that the Lanikai citizens bring their complaint to the Board of Directors of NCTD. It was also recommended that staff send a letter to the Board of Directors of NCTD expressing the position of the Traffic Safety Commission and informing the citizens of how to approach the NCTD Board.
6. GRAND - DIACQNAL PARKING
The Commission requested that staff stripe the north side of Grand Avenue for diagonal parking; also signing for the south side of Grand Avenue for parallel parking was requested.
7. BRISTOL COVE PROBLEMS
The Commission did not recommend any action at this time.
8-12. INFORMATION ITEMS
Items 8 through 12 were brought to the Commission's attention for informa- tional purposes only.
