APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the April 6, 1981 meeting were approved as submitted. JEFFERSON AND MAGNOLIA - 3-WAY STOP The Commission recommended that a stop sign on the east leg of the intersection. 3-way stop. installed in all 3 of the crosswalks at this location. and crosswalk be installed This would make the intersection a The Commission also recommended that cross hatching be RED CURB ON PI0 PIC0 AT CITY HALL ENTRANCE The Commission recommended painting 15 feet of red curb to the south of City Hall entrance and 20 feet of red curb to the north of City Hall entrance to improve the sight distance. ELM AVENUE - RIGHT TURN STUDY The Commission agreed with Staff's recommendation not to post any "Right Turn Only" signs at this time. a letter to the Planning Department and the Current Development Section of Engineering requesting review of development plans involving traffic safety by the Traffic Engineering Section. The Commission requested that staff write ROOSEVELT AND GRAND - 4-WAY STOP The Commission recommended installing a four-way stop at this intersection. 6. 7. 8. CARLSBAD BLVD. AT PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD - REQUEST FOR GUARD RAIL This item was continued until the next meeting to allow the Commissioners time to field review this location.
