APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the September 14, 1981 meeting were approved as sub- mitted except for a sentence under Item 3. the deletion of the following sentence from Item 3 at the request of Mr. Angarola, "The property owner stated he might consider alternate grading on his property". The Chairman asked for Corrected minutes are included. ELM 6 JEFFERSON - REQUEST FOR A FOUR-WAY STOP The Commission did not recornend installing a four-way stop at this time, Staff is to keep this intersection under surveillance. RIDGECREST 6 SEACREST - REQUEST FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL AT INTERSECTION The Commission recommended that staff issue work orders to cut back the shrubbery for better sight distance, and install a stop sign on Sea- crest. Staff is also going to take a speed study in the area, and check into the possibility of installing sidewalk on the southwest corner. Staff will report back to the Commission at the next meeting. CARLSBAD BOULEVARD BE'IWEEN TAMARACK AVENUE AND PAI.QI'IAR AIRPORT ROAD - REQUESm The Commission recommended that staff issue a work order to replace the existing 24" x 30" speed limit signs with 36" x 45" speed limit signs, L 5.
