Commissioner Penseyres absent. APPROVAL OF M INUTES: None PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT LISTED ON THE AGENDA: Claudia Kuepper, a Carlsbad resident, requested an evaluation on the speed limit on Rancho Santa Fe Road from Melrose Drive to El Camino Real. Delaney Kuepper, a Carlsbad resident, spoke on reducing the speed limit on Rancho Santa Fe Road. Jennifer Goswami, a Carlsbad resident, requested an evaluation on the speed limit on Rancho Santa Fe Road intersection with Camino Junipero or other alternatives to make the intersection safer. City Traffic Engineer Saberian introduced the new Transportation Director, Sean Haeri and City Deputy Attorney, Amanda Guy. DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS: 1. POLICE MONTHLY REPORT-(Staff contact: Lieutenant Christie Calderwood, Police Department) Lt. Calderwood talked about the end of school year events, concerts in the park, education on bicycle patrol and the two collisions reported on the past month. CLASS II BIKE LANES AND CHICANES ON GATEWAY ROAD-(Staff contact: Massoud Saberian, Public Works). Explained the use of Chicanes on Class II Bike Lanes.
