A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE CLEAN
ENERGY ALLIANCE JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Clean Energy Alliance Joint Powers Authority (CEA JPA) Agreement provides that
the governing body of each party shall appoint and designate a primary representative and one
alternate to the CEA JPA Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad City Council Members are appointed to be Primary and
Alternate Members of the Clean Energy Alliance Joint Powers Authority Board of
Directors, for a term ending in Dec. 2021 or until a replacement is appointed:
Primary Member: Priya Bhat-Patel
Alternate Member: Teresa Acosta
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 12th day of January, 2021, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Blackburn, Acosta, Bhat-Patel.
NAYS: Hall, Schumacher.
ABSENT: None.
