RESOLUTION NO. 2021-011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE MAYORAL APPOINTMENT OF A MEMBER OF
THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY BOARD
OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 40605 requires that the Mayor appoint, with
City Council concurrence, a representative to the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) Board of
Directors; and
WHEREAS, SDCWA requests that the appointments be made no later than the first regular City
Council meeting in 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad City Council Member is appointed to the San Diego County
Water Authority Board of Directors, for a term ending in Dec. 2021 or until a
replacement is appointed:
Member: Matt Hall
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 12th day of January, 2021, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: Acosta.
ABSENT: None. -itofra'/Id(
