RESOLUTION NO. 2020-241
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PARKS & RECREATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Nikole Pearson was initially appointed to the Parks & Recreation
Commission in October 2019 upon expiration of Commissioner Luna's term; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Pearson resigned on Oct. 15, 2020; and
WHEREAS, an unscheduled vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Parks &
Recreation Commission, for a term ending in December 2022 to coincide with the term
of the nominating Councilperson from District 1.

Carlsbad on the 15th day of December, 2020, by the following vote, to wit:
