Receive a report on the upcoming Housing Element review and meeting schedule.
Executive Summary
Item
Following the November 19th joint special meeting of the Housing Commission and HEAC, the
commission and committee will have additional opportunities to discuss and provide feedback
on the draft Housing Element at the following public meetings:
• November 30, 2020 -Housing Element Advisory Committee meeting
• December 3, 2020-Housing Commission meeting
• December 14, 2020 -Housing Element Advisory Committee meeting
At the December 14 meeting, it is anticipated the HEAC will be able to consider all comments
and feedback received and consider authorizing submittal of the draft Housing Element to the
state Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for initial state review.
Public Notification
This item was noticed in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act and was available for viewing
at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
