ACTION: On motion by Commissioner Livingston and a second by Commissioner Pear-
son, the minutes of the Nov. 18, 2019 parks & recreation commission meeting

PRESENTATIONS
Parks Planner Michael Tully recognized Eagle Scout Timothy Livingston for his recent
installation of a bench at Leo Carrillo Ranch Park.

1. SR # 0120-1 ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Chair Simons invited commissioners to express their interest in becoming chair and vice
chair for the 2020 calendar year. Nominations were solicited for commission officers.

After nomination and a vote by the commission, Commissioner Luna
was elected as chair of the parks & recreation commission for the
2020 calendar year. After nomination and a vote by the commission,
Vice Chair Martinez was elected as vice chair for the 2020 calendar
year.

2. SR# 0120-2 DEPARTMENT REPORT
Recreation Services Manager Mike Pacheco and Parks Services Manager Tim Selke
and Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Lancaster reported on recently completed, ongo-
ing and upcoming parks & recreation department programs, events, and park projects.
Mr. Pacheco, Mr. Selke and Mr. Lancaster were available for clarifying questions from
the commission.
