A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE ARTS COMMISSION
Exhibit 1
WHEREAS, Commissioner Joan Markovits was initially appointed in March 2012 to fill the
expired term of Commissioner lserloth, and;
WHEREAS, Commissioner Joan Markovits was reappointed in April 2016, and;
WHEREAS, one scheduled vacancy exists on the Arts Commission; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Arts
Commission, for a term ending in March 2024.
