A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
Exhibit 1
WHEREAS, Commissioner Neil Black was initially appointed to the Planning Commission in
January 2011, and resigned in July 2018; and
WHEREAS, an unscheduled vacancy on the Planning Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Planning
Commission, for a term ending in April 2020.

Carlsbad on the 11th day of September, 2018, by the following vote, to wit:
