At the request of Mr. Jerry Rombotis of your organization, we have made
an investigation of the surface and subsurface soils conditions at the site
of the proposed El Camino Mesa, Unit No. 2 Subdivision in the City of '
-Carlebd, California. - ' '•'_l
Our investigation indicates that the proposed structures can be safely
supported on square or continous footings'piaced"a minimum. of twelve
Inches into natural undisturbed soils, or in compacted fills if the recom-
mendations contained in the attached report are followed. Satisfactory
fill material can be obtained from the on-site excavations '
The accompanying 'report includes the results of the surface soils inspect-
ion, subsurface exploration. and laboratory tests,, and the reasoning sup-
.' porting the conclusion and recommendations contained therein.. Certifi- -
cation& required for YHA approvai Of the project are attached.
