ITEM EXPLANATION: This informational report provides an update on the current drought conditions affecting the Carlsbad Municipal Water District. This report will also discuss the San Diego County Water Authority Drought response plan adopted April 24, 2008, as well as the impacts of potential water supply cutbacks.
