RESOLUTION NO. 1,001
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FOR AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH BATIQUITOS
12-INCH WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT, CMWD
PROJECT NO. 85-401. CONTRACT NO. 34521134522
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water C
Carlsbad, California, has previously authorized the advertisement for bids for the
Batiquitos 12-Inch Water Main Replacement, CMWD Project No. 85-401, Contr:
34521 134522; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received October 29, 1997, fc
project; and
WHEREAS, all bid documents received from all bidders have been revie
detail and the Board of Directors does hereby find that the lowest resp
responsible bid received for the construction of said project was submitted by
Pipeline in the amount of $290,905 of which the water pipeline replacement pc
the project is $46,980; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount $55,000, to include $46,980 for the
water main, $3,020 for construction contingencies, $1,000 for surveying/soil$
and $4,000 for inspection services, are needed to complete the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
