RESOLUTION NO. 1120
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT (CMWD) TO
APPROVE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZE THE
DISTRICT SECRETARY TO ADVERTISE THE EL FUERTE 30 WATER MAIN FROM ALGA RD TO CHORILITO STREET PROJECT NO 38161 FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS, the District’s Board of Directors, has determined it necessary, desirable, and
n the public interest to construct the 30” water main in El Fuerte Street; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material, tools,
squipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for said project have been
srepared, are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated
my reference herein; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient appropriations available to complete the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal
lNater District (CMWD) of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the plans, specifications, and contract documents as presented are hereby

3. The District Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to publish in accordance
with State law, a Notice to Contractors inviting bids for the El Fuerte 30” Water Main from Alga
Road to Chorilito Street Project No. 38161.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District held on the 3rd day of April , 2001 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Board Members Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard and Hall.
