HOUSING SET-ASIDE FUNDS FOR AN AFFORDABLE WHEREAS,the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Carlsbad, hereinaft to as "Agency",is a Community Redevelopment Agency organized and existing under the Redevelopment Law, Health and Safetv Code Section 33000, et.seq., hereinafter referre " Act " ; and WHEREAS, the Agency is authorized to implement the Redevelopment 1 Carlsbad Village Redevelopment Project Area; and WHEREAS, Section 33334.2 of the Act requires that not less than twe (20%) of all taxes which are allocated to the Agency be used for purposes of inc improving the community's supply of low and moderate income housing; and W€E!REAS,pursuant to Section 33334.2(g) of the Act, the Agency m: funds inside our outside the project area upon a resolution of the Agency and the le@ that the use will be of benefit to the project.
