RESOLUTION NO. 79 79
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF MONEY
FOR BUS BENCHES FOR THE CARLSBAD VILLAGE AREA
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce wishes to present
to the City of Carlsbad the sum of $1,000 for the replacement
Df bus benches in the Carlsbad Village Area; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant
to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
3ity of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of money for
:he replacement of bus benches in the Carlsbad Village Area on
Iehalf of all the citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
:arlsbad City Council held the16th day of April, 1985, by the
Eollowing vote, to wit:
