2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A PLANNING
3 COMMISSIONER TO SERVE ON THE AGRICULTURAL
CONVERSION MITIGATION FEE AD HOC CITIZENS
4 ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
5 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby resolve as
follows:

WHEREAS, seven Carlsbad residents serve as members of the Agricultural
7
Conversion Mitigation (ACMF) Ad Hoc Citizens Advisory Committee (Committee), which
8
includes one Planning Commissioner and six members at large; and
9
WHEREAS, the term of the Planning Commissioner serving on the ACMF
10
Committee expired in January 2011, which resulted in an ACMF Committee member vacancy;11
and
12
WHEREAS, on October 5, 2011, the Planning Commission voted to recommend
that the City Council appoint Michael Schumacher to fill the Planning Commission member
vacancy on the ACMF Committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of16
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve as the Planning
Commission member of the Agricultural Conversion Mitigation Fee Ad Hoc Citizens Advisory
~. Committee, for a term expiring August 2, 2013 or until all mitigation funds have been allocated,
~~ whichever occurs first.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on 25th the day of October, 2011, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Kulchin.
