Re: Sign Permit
Dear Sam:
Thank you for submitting your application for a sign permit. Unfortunately, your
application has been denied. The application has been denied based on the fact that
the letter height of the wall sign is too large. The maximum letter height for wall signs
is 18 inches, the letter height on your sign is 24 inches. Because the sign does not
conform to the Village sign standards, it will have to be removed immediately. Please
note that this is a code violation and it will need to be resolved as soon as possible or
it may result in fines. 1 would be happy to meet with you and your sign maker to
discuss the types of signage that can be permitted. Please call me if you would like
to set up a meeting.
