SUBJECT: CUP 04-02AX1-K-1 SPEED INDOOR KART RACING

This notice is to inform you that CUP 04-02AX1 located at 6212 Corte Del Abeto and originally
conditioned to expire on June 14, 2014, is hereby extended in perpetuity by the City Planner pursuant to
Section 21.42.110(D) of the Carlsbad Municipal Code. While the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) no longer
has an expiration date, the CUP will continue to be reviewed by the Planning Division on an annual basis
to ensure continued compliance with the terms and conditions of the permit. If at any time the Division
determines that the use may be out of compliance with the te;ms and conditions of the CUP, it retains
the right to review this action and recommend that the approval be reconsidered.
In reaching this decision, the Planning Division has inspected the site for compliance with all of the
conditions of approval for CUP 04-02X1 contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 6613. The site
was found to be in compliance with the conditions of approval.
