A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Laurie Boone was appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission
in December 2014 to fill the expired term of Commissioner Smith for a term ending in April 2017; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Boone was reappointed in May 2017; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Boone is not eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Historic Preservation Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.The above recitations are true and correct.
2.The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Historic Preservation
Commission, for a term ending in April 2025, or until a replacement is appointed.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 20th day of April, 2021, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Acosta, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
