Welcome to the Carlsbad Golf Lodging Business Improvement District Advisory Board
Meeting
We welcome your interest and involvement in the city's legislative process. This agenda includes information
about topics coming before the CGLBID Board and the action recommended. You can read about each topic in
the reports, which are available on the city website. The City Clerk is also available to answer any questions you
have about CGLBID Advisory Board meeting procedures.
How to Participate
•Per State of California Executive Order N-29-20, and in the interest of public health and
4*Sb safety, we are temporarily taking actions to prevent and mitigate the effects of the COVID-
19 pandemic by holding CGLBID meetings electronically or by teleconferencing.

•You can participate in the meeting by e-mailing your comments to Cheryl Gerhardt at
cheryl.gerhardt@carlsbadca.gov prior to commencement of the agenda item. Your comment will be
transmitted to the CGLBID Advisory Board at the start of the agenda item.
•If you desire to have your comment read into the record at the CGLBID Board meeting, please indicate so
in the first line of your e-mail and limit your e-mail to 500 words or less.
•These procedures shall remain in place during the period in which state or local health officials have
imposed or recommended social distancing measures.
Reasonable Accommodations

1.APPROVE MINUTES OF APRIL 14, 2021
To approve the minutes of the April 14, 2021 meeting of the CGLBID Advisory Board.
REPORTS AND DISCUSSION ITEMS:
2.AB 5-21-56 ADOPT 2020-21 ANNUAL REPORT
Adopt resolution approving fiscal year 2021-22 CGLBID Annual Report and Budget.
3.NEXT MEETING
Set date for next meeting. Agenda topics to include:
a.Approve reimbursement requests
b.Elect board Chair and Vice-Chair
c.Set meeting calendar for the next year
GENERAL COUNSEL COMMENT

comment on items not on the agenda by submitting comments as provided on the front page of this agenda. The Clerk
will read comments as requested. Comments not read will be included in the record of the meeting. In conformance
with the Brown Act, no Advisory Board action can occur on items not on the agenda.
