This memo focuses on actions and information that are new since the last update. Emergency Operations Center • Emergency Operations Center staff activated to support COVID-19 mitigation and response operations and information sharing, and virtually activated to support the city’s reopening and re-staffing. Carlsbad’s rate is now at 4.3%, slightly lower than the 4.50% rate reported in Encinitas and the 4.96% rate in Poway. Services and hours remain limited. There are also no occupancy restrictions at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery. • Computer users at all library facilities are now able to access computers for a longer period of time per day, with available sessions changed from a maximum of a single 60-minute session to one 120-minute session per day beginning June 7.
