RESOLUTION NO. 2021-158
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE BUENA VISTA LAGOON
JOINT POWERS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Don Jackson was reappointed to the Buena Vista Lagoon Joint Powers Committee in
December 2015; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jackson is not eligible for reappointment.
WHEREAS, a vacancy on the Buena Vista Lagoon Joint Powers Committee exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.The above recitations are true and correct.
2.The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Buena Vista Lagoon Joint
Powers Committee, for a term ending in June 2025, or until a replacement is appointed.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 22nd day of June, 2021, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Acosta, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
