A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE LIBRARY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES
WHEREAS Trustee Beth Hulsart was appointed to the Library Board of Trustees in June 2013;
and
WHEREAS, Trustee Hulsart was reappointed in June 2017, for a term ending in June 2021; and
WHEREAS, Trustee Hulsart is not eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy now exists on the Library Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.The above recitations are true and correct.
2.The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Library Board of Trustees,
for a term ending in June 2025, or until a replacement is appointed.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 13th day of July, 2021, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Acosta, Bhat-Patel.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
