Dear Mr. Stewart:
In accordance with the project architect’s request, we have reviewed the referenced project
foundation plans (SMR, 2021) for general conformance with the project geotechnical report (Ninyo &
Moore, 2017) and update addendum (Ninyo & Moore, 2021) for the planned development of
Fire Station No. 2, located at 1906 Arenal Road in Carlsbad, California. Based on our review, the
referenced project foundation plans (SMR, 2021) are in general conformance and incorporate the
recommendations of the project geotechnical report (Ninyo & Moore, 2017) and update addendum
(Ninyo & Moore, 2021).
