PVC Sch 40 under Pedestrian Paving with 18" cover for pressure pipe, and with 12" cover for non-pressure pipe. Use separate sleeves for controller wires ' 5. Adjust all spray heads to eliminate throw onto walls, walks, windows, etc. 6. Install anti-drain valves under sprinkler heads to prevent erosion/run•off due to site topography, unless factory installed check valves are specified. There shall be no low·head drainage. Serviceable check valves located in valve boxes or on risers (above grade) are required where elevation differential may cause low head drainage. 7. Install lawn spray heads on 4" pop-up risers. Install all heads on Stations #6 and #9 on 12· pop-up risers. All irrigation equipment loc.ited within 1 o feet of pedestrian or vehicle uses shall retract entirely below grade. All pipe must be below grade except for risers. 8. Install (1) W.C.S. "Rain-Guard" rain shut-off device per controller per manufacturer's recommendations. Install (1) Rainbird "Aqua.miser" moisture sensor device per controller per manufacturer's recommendations. 9. It is the City's in1ent that the future source of water for irrigation will be reclaimed wa1er. All equipment shall be compatible with reclaimed water. All work with reclaimed water shall comply with Carlsbad Reclamation Rules and Regulations for Construction of Reclaimed Water Mains (October 1993), as well as the City of Carlsbad Landscape Manual. Particular care shall be taken to assure that all equipment in the reclaimed water system shall be well marked with all the warning devices required by the City. "Alertline" pipe (or equal) shall be installed. 1 O.
