Recommended Action
Receive a status report on Arts & Culture Master Plan initiatives and a recap on the
presentation to the City Council on April 13, 2021.
Executive Summary
Cultural Arts Manager Richard Schultz will present a recap of the April 13th presentation to the
City Council regarding an update detailing the progress on the Arts & Culture Master Plan. The
last update was provided to the City Council on May 7, 2019. Due to the pandemic, there was
no update presented in 2020. This report provides an update on previously approved initiatives
for fiscal years 2019-20 and 2020-21, as well as a review of three initiatives approved by the
City Council for fiscal year 2021-22 which included mobile outreach staffing, 10% increase to
grants funding and launching the Cannon Gallery redesign.
