Executive Summary/Discussion This report provides an update of the Cannon Art Gallery’s newest exhibition, Frida Kahlo’s Garden including information on the Guest Artist Residency of Vanessa Severo, an actor and creator of the one woman show, Frida…A Self-Portrait. Frida Kahlo’s Garden is a national touring exhibition that will highlight the life and home of one of the most significant artists of the twentieth century, Frida Kahlo (1907-1954). The Cannon Art Gallery is the only Southern California venue to host this exhibition which runs from September 1 – October 20, 2021. It is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities and adapted and traveled by Mid-America Arts Alliance. Next Steps This is an information sharing item; no next steps identified.
