All work shall confirm to city standards and these plans. 2. Notes are directed to the work of the contractor unless otherwise noted on the plans. 3. Work not to be under contractor's contract: 4. 5. Contractor shall submit a schedule of work lo be approved by the owner and Landscape Architect prior to beginning the project. The work shall be in accordance with said schedule. 8. Additions anc/lor deletions of material and/or labor shall be made at unit prices established with the contractor prior to beginning the work. Determination of "equal" substitutions shall be made by the owner I Landscape Architect and the City. Landscape Architect shall be notified no less than 48 hours in advance of any inspections or meetings. Contractor shall be backcharge for Landscape Architect's time when inspections are called for and it is round that the work is not significantly ready upon inspection or the appointment is not kept. Irrigation contractor shall /lush all lines and adjust all heads for maximum performance and to prevent overspray onto walks and drives as much as possible. This shall include selecting the best degree of arc to fit existing site conditions. Do not willfully install the system as designed when it 1s obvious in the field that unknown obstructions or grade differences exist that were not known dunng designing. Such conditions shall be brought to the attention of the owner·s author,zed representative. Otherwise the ,rr,gatlon contractor must assume full responsibility for any and all necessary revisions. Install all equipment as shown in details. System design is based on minimum operating pressure shown ar each point of connection. Maximum GPM demand specified.
