Will you be able to join us? If not please provide me with updates at your earliest convenience so I can make sure all information is posted 72 hours in advance. The commission asked specifically at the last meeting on August 3rd to be provided updates from CA State Parks, regarding the following issues; What are your procedures if you see charcoal graffiti on walls at Warm Jetty Beach? What do you do about fires and charcoal that are left on the beaches? Is there anything going on to address the issue of erosion happening at Terramar beach area? Please also provide any other necessary updates there is a list below of previous projects you reported on, for easier convenience for you. I would like to put ppt together by Tuesday Sept 28th, if you could provide me any updates by then I would appreciate it. The ppt has to go through several reviews before we have the final one so I need time to have more senior management review it. Thanks, Michael Bluff Native Plant Project - California State Parks has some habitat restoration in progress along the bluffs near the south end of the campground as well as the bluffs at South Ponto. Nov. 9, 2021 Item 3 Page 2 of 3 Exhibit 1 Graffiti on the seawall should be reported to the city. State Parks is responsible for beach maintenance including illegal fires. Bluff erosion is a challenge throughout San Diego County. We are monitoring the area south of Terra Mar Point and are making some minor repairs to the existing chain link fence. The city is schedule to begin the outfall energy dissipater project on Carlsbad State Beach on or about September 27, 2021.
