All signing, striping and pavement markings shall conform to the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (Latest Version), The Caltrans Standard Specifications (2006 or latest version thereof), these plans and the Speclal Provisions. All signing and striping Is subject ta the approval of the Transportation Director or his representative, prior to Installation. Any deviation from these signing and striping plans shall be approved by the Engineer of Work and Transportation Director prior ta any change In the field. All striping shall be reflective per Caltrons specification. Striping shall be repainted two weeks after initial painting. All signage shall be reflective per ASThl designation 04956 and shall use t}Pe IV prisn:,atlc reflective sheeting (High Intensity Prismatic or equal) unless otherwise specified. Prior to final acceptance of street improvements, all street striping and markings within a 500' perimeter of tha construction project will be restored to a "Ilks new• condition, In manner meeting the approval of the City Inspector. Contractor shall remove all conflicting painted line•, marking• and pavement legends by grinding. Debris shall be promptly removed by the contractor.
