RESOLUTION NO. 2022-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO SERVE
AS MAYOR PRO TEMPORE FOR A TERM ENDING IN DECEMBER 2022, OR
UNTIL A REPLACEMENT IS APPOINTED
WHEREAS, Council Member Keith Blackburn was appointed on Jan. 12, 2021, by Resolution No.
2021-007 to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad City Council Member is appointed to serve as mayor pro
tempore, for a term ending in December 2022, or until a replacement is appointed:
Council Member Blackburn
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 11P-1 day of January 2022, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Acosta, Norby.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
