RESOLUTION NO. 2022-016
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE NORTH
COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, California Public Utilities Code Section 125050(b) authorizes the City Council to
appoint a primary representative and an alternate representative to the North County Transit District
(NCTD) Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, NCTD requests that the appointments be made no later than the first regular City
Council meeting in 2022_
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2_ That the following Carlsbad City Council Members are appointed as Primary and
Alternate Members to the North County Transit District Board of Directors, for a term
ending in December 2022 or until replacements are appointed:
Primary Member: Council Member Bhat-Patel
Alternate Member: Council Member Acosta
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 11th day of January 2022, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Acosta, Norby.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
