LANDSCAPING SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED ON ALL SLOPES ANO PADS AS REQUIRED BY THE CITY OF CARLSBAD LANDSCAPE MANUAL, THE LANDSCAPING PLANS FOR THIS PROJECT, DRAWING NO. 484-5M, AND/OR AS DIRECTED BY THE CITY ENGINEER OR CITY PLANNER. UNLESS EXEMPTED BY SECTION 301.(b)5 OF THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, RETAINING WALLS OUTSIDE OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY REQUIRE SEPARATE PERMITS FROM THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. 6. NO WORK SHALL BE COMMENCED UNTIL ALL PERMITS HA VE BEEN OBTAINED FROM THE CITY ANO OTHER APPROPRIATE AGENCIES. 7. UNLESS A GRADING PERMIT FOR THIS PROJECT IS ISSUED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CITY ENGINEER'S APPROVAL, THESE PLANS MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE RESUBMITTED FOR PLANCHECK. PLANCHECK FEES WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ANY SUCH RECHECK. 15. THIS PLAN MUST BE PREPARED FOR ALL TRENCHES FIVE FEET (5') OR MORE IN DEPTH AND APPROVED BY THE CITY ENGINEER AND/OR CONCERNED AGENCY PRIOR TO EXCAVATION.
