The grading construction was conducted between March 16, 2020 and June 24, 2021, utilizing the recommendations of the referenced report. Observations of the grading were provided by STRATA-TECH, Inc. PLACEMENT OF STRUCTURAL FILL Compacted fill was placed on the subject site to provide adequate support for the proposed multifamily building. Once foundations were poured and as retaining walls built walls were water proofed, subdrains installed and backfilled with on site native soils. OBSERVATIONS DURING GRADING Preparation for placement of compacted fill included excavation to semi-subterranean pad grade and recompaction of two feet below 5-feet beyond the building foundation to provide a minimum STRATA-TECH,INC. GEOCONSULTANTS TMS Highland Investments, LLC Final As-Built Compaction Report 2 W.O. 284018 July 18, 2021 of 2 feet of compacted fill under the footings of the proposed building. Prior to placement of fill, the bottom was made level, scarified, watered and compacted. Subsequent fills were placed in 6 to 8 inch loose lifts and compacted to a minimum of 90 percent. IMPROVMENTS Utility services Water service May 2020 Sewer main and water installed in June -May-June2020. Fire water line in August 2020. Gas service line installed in April 2021. Street improvements in June 24, 2021 Interior utilities Sewer and water were backfilled with birds eye/ pea gravel to avoid damage from mechanical compaction. Foundations Foundations were excavated per plan and penetrate the bearing soils a min of 24". Building foundations were observed before pouring of concrete with capillary break, 15mill visqueen, sand and steel ready for pour. Foundations were installed May-June 2020. TESTING Maximum density optimum moisture relationship determinations were performed for each soil type encountered during grading operations. Test results were as follows: Laboratory Standard: (ASTM: D-1557) 4-inch dia. mold; 1/30 cu.ft.vol.; 5 layers-25 blows per layer; 10 lb. hammer dropped 18 inches STRATA-TECH,INC.
