This test is necessary to determine what kind of amendments or conditioning is recommended by the soils laboratory, to insure proper water percolation into the soil, and a healthy soil environment for plant health & growth. This test shall be conducted after mass grading is finished and before any landscape plantings. Contact an agricultural plant laboratory for information on performing the soils test. Their recommendation will become part of the working drawings. The following are the areas that the soils laboratory shall test and make their recommendations for the site: THE SOIL ANALYSIS MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 1. SOIL TEXTURE 2.
