A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE BEACH PRESERVATION
COMMISSION
Exhibit 1
WHEREAS, Commissioner John Prietto was appointed to the Beach Preservation Commission in
November 2017 to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Amy Ahrendt; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Prietto resigned on Jan. 12, 2022; and
WHEREAS, an unscheduled vacancy on the Beach Preservation Commission exists with a term
ending in June 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Beach Preservation
Commission, for a term ending in June 2022, or until a replacement is appointed.
