A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE ARTS COMMISSION

WHEREAS, Commissioner Emma Jadhav was appointed to the Arts Commission in February
2016 to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Joann Johnson for a term ending in March 2018; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Jadhav was reappointed in March 2018 for a term ending in March
2022;and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Jadhav is not eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Arts Commission exists with a term ending in March
2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Arts Commission, for a term
ending in March 2026, or until a replacement is appointed.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 19th day of April, 2022, by the following vote, to wit:
