To the best of our knowledge there are no existing utllltles except as shown on these plans. The contractor is required to take due precautionary measures to protect the utilities shown and any other lines or structures not shown on these plans. All contractors and subcontractons performing work shown on or related to these plans shall conduct their operations so that all employees are provided a safe place to work and the public is protected. All contractors and subcontractors shall comply with the "Occupational Safety and Health Regulation" of the U.S. Department of Labor, and with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations' "Construction Safety Order-!." A precanstruction conference shall be held at the site prior to beginning of work and shall be attended by all representatives responsible for construction, inspection, supervision, testing, and all other aspects of the work. llrl.l$h shall be removed only within the area to be graded. No trees are to be removed. All areas shall be graded to drain. Ponding of water is not permitted. Where an existing abandoned pipe line is not removed by the grading · operation, it shall be removed within 20 feet of building or street areas and replaced with properly compacted soils.
