Prior to approval, all such proposed signs must be reviewed for potential issues by the Transportation Department, which will not allow signs to be approved over the counter. Baker Street, Suite 100 Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Architectural Review Committee Re: Lot 67/68-ARROWHEAD Wall Sign Review (1800 Aston Avenue) Dear Mr. Coady, The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) of the Carlsbad Research Center (CRC) has reviewed your wall sign application submitted on behalf of your tenant, ARROWHEAD, for your building located at 1800 Aston Avenue on lot 67/68 of the CRC. The proposed plan for a single wall sign is consistent with the CRC Design Guidelines. Therefore the submitted plans are considered APPROVED. Please be advised that after this approval, your building will be allowed only one more wall sign and a monument sign. The additional wall sign cannot exceed 24 inches in height, and must be on a separate elevation than the one where this Arrowhead sign will be, per CRC Design Guidelines. You may proceed with the construction and installation of your sign once a sign permit is obtained from the City of Carlsbad.
