Subject: Election of Officers for Fiscal Years 2022-23 and 2023-24
Recommended Action
Solicit nominations for and elect the Beach Preservation Commission Chairperson, and Vice
Chairperson, for fiscal years 2022-23 and 2023-24.
Discussion
Every other year, elections are held for the positions of the Beach Preservation Commission
Chairperson and Vice Chairperson. On Oct. 6, 2020, the Beach Preservation Commission
elected Fred Briggs to the position of Chairperson and Kathleen Steindlberger to the position of
Vice Chairperson for fiscal years 2020-21 and 2021-22. The election of a Commission
Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for fiscal years 2022-23 and 2023-24 is needed.
After nominations have been received and accepted, the Commissioners will vote to elect the
Chairperson, and then the Vice Chairperson, for fiscal years 2022-23 and 2023-24.
