In response to the third party review by NV5, dated September 23, 2019, Project No. 226816-
00101.64.
The description of the proposed development is incomplete. Please see the revised
report, paragraph one page 1.
The site description is incomplete. Please see the revised report Site Conditions on
page 2 and Conclusions and Recommendations #9 on page 5 and Plate IV and V.
The report log referenced loose soils and no information was give on the underlying
geology. The subject soils were soft in consistency. Based on research, the property
is underlain (beneath any fill that may be present) by the Scripps Formation and the
Del Mar Formation.
For information on the laboratory testing please see Plate ifi.
The minimum embedment for the proposed foundations is 24 inches. The 12 inch
footing referenced in the bearing value paragraph was to indicate a bearing value of
1500 psf at a depth of 12 inches.
